Dinner at the Gowrie House is a delightful experience not to be missed.
Dinner is served each evening at 7:30pm consisting of a four course meal.
A soup, appetizer, choice of entree and dessert.
Don't miss the great hospitality and fine dining in the heart of Cape Breton Island at Gowrie House Country Inn Reservations are required. We accept reservations until 3:00 p.m. daily, or until we are full. Price per person: $55.00 + tax(15%) + gratuity.
Gowrie House Country Inn is pleased to welcome Chef Lars Willum as our new Executive Chef starting in April of 2005. Lars is an accomplished chef who will be bringing exciting new tastes to our menu as well as a mastery of Gowrie House favourites. Lars is also host of the popular television cooking program "Be My Guest" as well as a regular columnist for the local newspaper the "Cape Breton Post". He has represented Canada at the International Seafood Expo in Belgium and at a trade mission in Iceland. He was also asked to join a panel of international chefs in judging and select Icelandic chef of the year during Matur 2002 Expo and best international chef during Food & Fun Festival 2002. Lars Willum is born in Denmark and has made Cape Breton his home for the past ten years. We hope you'll enjoy his ever changing menu at Gowrie House Country Inn.
